QuestionAnswer
Respiratory system System in which the body takes up oxygen from the air we breathe and expels the unwanted carbon dioxide.
Lungs Organs in the chest that supplies the body with oxygen and removes carbon dioxide from the body.
Larynx The area of the throat containing the vocal cords and used for breathing, swallowing, and talking .
Pharynx The passage to the stomach and lungs.
Gastrointestinal system The organs that takes in food and liquids and break them down into substances that the body can use for energy, growth, and tissue repair.
Small Intestine A large tube-shaped organ that breaks down food, absorb nutrients the body needs, and excrete unnecessary components.
Large Intestine A tube-shaped organ that absorbs water and nutrients from food that has not been fully digested.
Pancreas A glandular organ located in the abdomen.
Gall Bladder A small pear-shaped organ located under your liver that stores and release bile.
Urinary system The organs that make urine and remove it from the body.
Kidneys A pair of organs in the abdomen that filter waste from the blood and produce urine.
Urethra A Tube that allows urine to pass out of the body and empty from the bladder.
Male Reproductive System Collection of internal and external organs that's produce sperm, store it, and enable its delivery to fertilize a female egg.
Prostate A gland in the male reproductive system that produces fluid that's part of semen.
Testes Egg-shaped glands inside the scrotum that produce sperm and male hormones.
