Brain; function part of your nervous system that coordinates all of the body's functions. it is the command center of the body, like a supercomputer. made up of a billion cells. It is responsible for who we are.
Cerebrum; function the brain's largest region, responsible for conscious thoughts and actions. manages movement, regulates temperature,enables speech, judgement, thinking, and reasoning. Also responsible emotions and learning.
Cerebellum; function the small brain region. responsible for keeping you balanced, coordinated, and making sure our fingers don't trip over each other while writing or drawing. It could also be a key player in our thoughts, emotions, and social skills.
Diencephalon; function made up of structures; not generally usable.
Thalamus; function the thalamus receives sensory messages such as touch, from the body, and then sends the message to the appropriate part of the brain to be interpreted.
Hypothalamus; function regulates functions like thirst, appetite, and sleep patterns. Also regulates the release of hormones from the pituitary gland.
Pituitary gland; function produces hormones involved in regulating growth, metabolism, water and mineral balance, the body's response to stress, and more.
Brain stem; function connects your brain to the spinal cord. functions essential life patterns like breathing, consciousness, blood pressure, heart rate, and sleep.
Frontal lobe; function home to areas that manage thinking, emotions, personality, judgement, self-control, muscle control and movements, memory storage and more.
Parietal lobe; function helps identify objects and understand spatial relationships.The parietal lobe is also involved in interpreting pain and touch in the body.
Occipital lobe; function responsible for visual signals, works in harmony with the other brain areas, and plays a critical role in various tasks including recognizing faces and places, language, reading, and memory storage.

Diencephalon; location size of an apricot, located int the central part of the brain
Thalamus; location in Diencephalon, central part of the brain
Hypothalamus; location in Diencephalon, central part of the brain
Pituitary gland; location tiny gland, in Diencephalon, central part of the brain
Brainstem; location back of the neck/head, connecting to spinal cord along neck.
Frontal lobe; location frontal area of the head
Parietal lobe; location Middle part of the brain
Occipital lobe; location back of the brain
