Angiography | x-ray record of blood vessels after dye is injected |
Angioplasty | surgical repair of blood vessel by inserting and blowing up a catheter to enlarge the artery |
Arteriosclerosis | hardening of arteries |
Arthralgia | painful joint |
Arthropathy | disease of the joint |
Atherosclerosis | hardening of arteries because of fatty plaque deposits |
Axillary | pertaining to the armpit or underarm |
Bronchitis | inflammation of the bronchial tubes |
Bronchoscopy | visual examination of bronchial tubes |
Carcinoma | cancerous tumor (made from epithelial cells) |
Cardiomegaly | enlargement of heart |
Cardiomyopathy | disease of heart muscle |

Meningitis | inflammation of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord |
