Adherence | A patient’s ability to follow a prescribed treatment plan. |
Comorbidity | The presence of two or more disorders in a person. |
Dual diagnosis | When a person has both a mental disorder and a substance use disorder. |
Euthymic | A normal, stable mood state. |
Lethality assessment | Evaluating the risk of suicide or self-harm. |
Parasuicide | Self-injurious behavior without intent to die. |
Recidivism | Repeated relapse into addiction or criminal behavior. |
Self-efficacy | A person’s belief in their ability to cope with challenges. |
