Aberdeen Cell Parts

is the cell structure in which photosynthesis takes place; contains chlorophyll needed for photosynthesis. It’s function is to contain chlorophyll. ONLY IN PLANT CELL chloroplast
is the jellylike liquid in a cell where chemical reactions of the cell take place. It’s function is to fill in the cell. cytoplasm
is a dense, dark structure containing materials that control the activities of the cell. It’s function is to control the cell. It is like the brain of the cell. nucleus
a space in a cell’s cytoplasm that is surrounded by a membrane and filled with a watery fluid; the fluid stores food prior to digestion or waste products prior to excretion (getting rid of waste) It’s function is to be a storage center. vacuole
a cell wall and a chloroplasts are only in this type of cell plant
