diabetes insipidus | congenital disorder from insufficient anitdiuretic hormone |
diabetes mellitus | unable to remove sugars from the blood due to a lack of insulin secretion |
diabetic nephropathy | renal insufficiency caused by diabetes |
diabetic retinopathy | visual loss or blindness caused by diabetes |
dwarfism | congenital disorder causing a small stature, caused by deficiency in growth hormone |
erectile dysfunction | testosterone deficiency |
exopthalmos | protrusion of the eyeballs, seen in Grave's disease |
gigantism | congenital disorder causing excessive stature from overproduction of growth hormone |
glycosuria | sugar in the urine |
goiter | enlargement of the thyroid gland |
gynecomastia | excessive breast development in males |
Hashimoto's thyroiditis | chronic inflammation of the thyroid, usually from hypothyroidism |
hirsutism | male patterned hair growth in females |
hyperadrenalism | oversecretion of adrenal hormone, condition will vary, depending on which hormone is in overproduction |
hypercalcemia | excessive calcium in the blood |
hyperglycemia | high blood sugar, insufficient insulin |
hypergonadism | overproduction of sex hormones |
hyperkalemia | excessive potassium in the blood |
hyperparathyroidism | excessive production of parathyroid hormone |
hyperthyroidism (Grave's disease) | overactivity of the thyroid gland |
hypoadrenalism | decreased function of the adrenal cortex |
hypoglycemia | low blood sugar, excess insulin |
hypogonadism | decreased production of sex hormones |
hypoparathyrodism | hypocalcemia, underactivity of the parathyroid gland |

ketoacidosis | acidosis due to excessive waste products called ketones in the blood stream, can be fatal |
