coracoid process beak like projection on the scapula
lateral border the outer vertical edge of the scapula
medial border long inner edge of the scapula
superior angle angle of the scapula at the upper end of the medial border
inferior angle angle at the lower end of the medial border
subscapular fossa indentation on the anterior surface of the scapula
fossa greek for indentation
glenoid fossa shoulder socket
supraglenoid tubercle little swelling above the glenoid fossa
infraglenoid tubercle little swelling below the glenoid fossa
spine of the scapula horizontal ridge across the scapula
infraspinous fossa indentation below the spine of the scapula
supraspinous fossa indentation above the spine of the scaupla
manubrium upper segment of the sternum
zyphoid process distal end of the sternum
body of the sternum middle of the sternum
spinous process bumps of the vertebrae that stick out posteriously
transverse process bumps on the verterbrae that stick out side to side
