| καὶ οὐκ ᾔδει πόθεν ἐστίν | He did not realize where it had come from /並不知道是那裡來的 |
| οἱ δὲ διάκονοι ᾔδεισαν οἱ ἠντληκότες τὸ ὕδωρ | though the servants who had drawn the water knew /只有舀水的用人知道 |
| φωνεῖ τὸν νυμφίον ὁ ἀρχιτρίκλινος | Then he called the bridegroom aside /管筵席的便叫新郎來 |
| καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Πᾶς ἄνθρωπος πρῶτον τὸν καλὸν οἶνον τίθησιν | and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first /對他說、人都是先擺上好酒 |
| καὶ ὅταν μεθυσθῶσιν τὸν ἐλάσσω | and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink /等客喝足了、纔擺上次的 |
