Luo/Connecting Point

TermDefinition
What is a Luo / Connecting Point? The Luo (connecting) points are all located below the elbow or knee. Luo are areas along the channels that facilitate interconnection between the yin/yang pair, and can induce a fairly quick and dramatic effect on the interplay of yin and yang .
Luo points help disperse excess within the channel they lie on the surface.
Luo points are excellent at focusing consciousness towards inner wisdom, and clearing the mind so that it can view external circumstances clearly.
What are Luo points good for? Draining any pathogenic excess, such as cold, damp, and wind.
