What is Arthritis? Inflammation of the joints causing pain and loss of range of motion
What is Neuritis? Inflammation of the nerves casing pain
Neuralgia severe sharp pain in a nerve caused by pressure on the nerve
Sciatica A condition that affects the sciatic nerve causing pain in the low back, the buttocks, and down the leg
Fibromyalgia Chronic pain in muscles and soft tissues surrounding joints
Insomnia abnormal sleep patterns
Coma and abnormal deep sleep caused by illness or injury
Muscle Spasm a muscle that is hypertonic and very painful
Constipation poor elimination of fecal matter
Malabsorption poor digestion and assimilation of food
Hypertrophy an increase in the growth and size of tissues
Atrophy a decrease in the size and growth of tissues
Adhesions a build up of scar tissue causing limited range of motion of joint and organs
Sprain varying levels of tearing to connective tissue (i.e. muscle, ligaments)
Strain a less serious injury to connective tissue involving overstretching
Depression a mental disorder marked by altered mood
Poor Body Image an unhealthy perception of the conscious perception of one's body
Kyphosis an over-exaggerated thorasic curve
Lordosis an over-exaggerated lumbar curve
Anemia low blood cell count
