Win-Lose Being high on courage but low in consideration.
Lose-Win Bein low in courage but high in consideration
Lose-lose Having a revenge mentality. "If I'm going down, I'll drag you down with me!"
Win-win/no deal Having a perfect balance of courage and consideration.
Emotional Bank Account Deposits Doing something that helps a relationship or lifts up another person.
What is a deposit for the other person? You have to find out what a deposit is for the other person. What you consider a deposit could be a withdraw for the other person.
Small acts of kindness Small acts of kindness let others know you are open to friendship.
Keeping promises Committing to promises is important to maintaining a good EBA
Keeping confidences When someone tells you something in confidence keep it private.
Being loyal to the absent Gossiping about other people will make you untrustworthy. Lift people up instead of breaking them down.
Set clear expectations Make sure to set clear expectations and follow through on them. Don't make empty promises.
Apologize If you do something unkind apologize immediately. Only apologizing once the other person does withdraws from the EBA.
Forgive Treat others the way you want to be treated. Forgive and forget and make sure you don't hold mistakes over someone else's head.
