Muscle Stripping is applied in what direction? Along the fibre direction.
Wringing Each hand moves in opposite direction and then back. More pressure used when tissue is lifted and torqued, & less @ beginning and end of movement.
Picking Up Fingers are thenar eminence or the palms of hands squeeze the muscle, lifting it up from the underlying tissue using a verticle pressure.
Skin Rolling Skin is lifted between thumb & fingers and gently rolled over area.
Kneading Using the thumb, fingertips, palmar surface or ulnar border of the hand or forearm, the therapist performs short, rhythmical unidirectional or circular movements.
