What does the Integumentary system consist of? Skin, hair, nails, sweat glands, and sebaceous (oil) glands.
What forms frame work of the body and protects underlying organs? Skeletal System.
What does the skeletal system consist of? bones, joints, ligaments, cartilage.
What does the muscular system do for your body? produce movement and maintain posture.
What system of the body consist of the brain,spinal cord, and associated nerves? Nervous System.
What does the Endocrine system include ? All the glands that secrete chemicals called hormones.
What are hormones ? Act as messangers to regulate cellular actiivities.
What does the Cardiovascular System consist of ? Blood, Heart, and Blood Vessels.
What system consists of a series of vessels that transport fluid (lymph) ? Lymphatic System.
Includes: Mouth, Pharynx, Esophagus, Stomach, Small Intestines, And Large Intestine Digestive System.
What is the digestive system's functions ? Ingest food, process it into a form that can be used by the body, eliminate the residue.
What are some digestive system accessory organs? teeth, tounge, salivary glands, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.
What does the urinary system consist of ? Kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra.
What does the kidneys do ? Remove waist from the body, regulate fluid level, and regulate chemical content of the body.
What system is the production of new individuals ? Reproductive System.
What does the reproductive system consist of ? Consist of gonads 1. Female: ovaries (produce ova or egga) 2. Male: testes (produce sperm)
