What does the thyroid do? stores considerable amounts of the hormone before secreting them.
Where is T3 more potent and considered "principle hormone"? thyroid.
What is calcitocin? it increases calcium storage in bone lowering blood CA++ levels.
What increases the rate of metabolism, but usually converts to T3 first? Tetraiodothyronine (T4 or thyroxine)
What does triiodothyronine (T3) do? increases the rate of the metabolism.
