What can chronic pain be associated with? Decrease in sleep, libido, and appetite
What is terminal pain? It can either be acute or chronic, and occurs when a person is terminally ill.
What is the purpose of treating pain? To remove the cause or lessen the pains severity.
What is a main type of pain medication? Narcotic's
What can surgery help with? It helps to try and block the transmission of pain, or to remove the cause of the pain.
What is a good therapy to help modify muscle tension? Relaxation therapy
What has been found to alleviate pain? Music
What does massage therapy focus on? Key trigger points
