Skull Bones

Frontal Bone superior and most anterior skull bone
Parietal Bones superior lateral skull bones
Occipital Bone posterior inferior skull bone, forms back and floor of brain case
Foramen Magnum large hole in occipital bone where the spinal cord exits the brain case
Occipital Condyle ridges or lips around the foramen magnum
Temporal Bones Inferior lateral skull bones
Mastoid Process rough projection inferior to the temporal bones
External Auditory Meatus hole above mastoid process
Sphenoid the lateral wall of the eye orbit, the triangular flat bone above the temporal bones, and the bat or butterfly shaped bone on the floor of the brain case
Ethmoid posterior medial wall of the eye orbit, the three small projections in top of nasal cavity, and the "punctured triangle" inside the brain case
Lacrimal thumbnail-sized bone in medial corners of the eye orbits
Lacrimal Fossa depression in the lacrimal bones
Nasal two small rectangular bones on bridge of nose
Vomer thin vertical plate on the inferior wall of nasal cavity that separates it in half
Inferior Nasal Conchae two shelves on lateral walls of nasal cavity (one shelf on each side)
Zygomatic Bones the bones just inferior to the eye orbits, "cheekbones"
Zygomatic Arch the bridge from the zygomatic bone to the temporal bone
Maxilla upper jaw and anterior roof of the mouth
Mandible lower jaw, part that moves freely
Palatine posterior half-inch of hard palate in mouth
