Malignant tumors

Deadly tumors, grow rapidly, don't function normally

TermDefinition
Carcinoma originates in the epithelium. Most common form of cancer. (cancer of skin, mouth, lung, breast, stomach, colon, prostate, uterus)
Sarcoma develops from connective tissue and maybe found anywhere in the body. Cells are usually spread by blood.
Leukemia a cancer of white blood cells.
Lymphoma a malignant neoplasm of lymphatic tissue.
Glioma is a cancer of the support (neuroglial) tissue of the brain or spinal cord.
