Simple Cuboidal Epithelium Found in the kidney tubules, ducts and secretory portions of small glands, and ovary surface
Simple Columnar Epithelium Single layer of tall cells with oval nuclei
Simple Columnar Epithelium Found in the gallbladder,and excretory ducts of some glands
Pseudostratified Columnar Epithelium Gives the impression of more then one layer. When it is only a single layer, cells are different in height
Pseudostratified Columnar Epithelium Foundin the trachea
Stratified Squamous Epithelium Thick membrane composed of several layers
Stratified Squamous Epithelium Found in the mouth and vagina
Stratified Cuboidal Epithelium Generally two layers of cube-like cells
Stratified Cuboidal Epithelium Found ine largest ducts of sweat glands,mammary glands and salivary glands
Stratified Columnar Epithelium Several celllayer: basal cells usually cuboidal
Stratified Columnar Epithelium Rare in the body; small amounts inmale urethra and in large ducts in some glands
Transitional Epithelium Resembles both stratified squamous and stratified cuboidal
Transitional Epithelium Lines the ureters, bladder and part of the urethra
