endocrine system glands that secrete hormones; chemical regulation of the body
lymphatic system glands and tissues that fight illness
respiratory system lungs and air tubes that help exchange CO2 and O2 between the body cells and the environment
reproductive system uterus, testes and other organs involved with producing offspring
cardiovascular system heart and blood vessels; transport of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body and carrying wastes away from the tissues; also known as circulatory
digestive system liver, stomach, intestines and other organs that receive, breakdown, and absorb nutrients
