Teres Major Thick and flattened muscle that attaches the scapula to humerus
Supraspinatus One of the muscles of the rotator cuff group; it is a muscle located above the spine of the scapula
Infraspinatus One of the muscles of the rotator cuff group; it is a muscle located below the spine of the scapula
Teres Minor One of the muscles of the rotator cuff group; it modulates the deltoid and rotates the humerus laterally
Subscapularis One of the muscles of the rotator cuff group; it rotates the head of the humerus medially and adducts it
Deltoid Shoulder muscle that looks like the Greek letter delta that plays a pivotal role in abducting the arm along the frontal plane
Triceps Brachii Three headed muscle of the arm responsible for straightening the arm
Lateral Head of Triceps Brachii Head of the Triceps Brachii that arises from the dorsal surface of the humerus
Long Head of Triceps Brachii Head of the Triceps Brachii that arises from the scapula
Medial Head of Triceps Brachii Head of the Triceps Brachii that arises proximally from the humerus
Biceps Brachii Two headed muscle of the arm that supinates the forearm and flexes the elbow
Short Head of Biceps Brachii Head of the Biceps Brachii that originates from the coracoid process of the scapula
Long Head of Biceps Brachii Head of the Biceps Brachii that originates from the supraglenoid tubercle of the humerus
Brachialis Muscle of the upper arm that flexes the arm at the elbow joint
Coracobrachialis Flexes and adducts the arm at the shoulder joint
