Term | Definition |

Clavicle | collarbone, attaches anteriorly to the sternum, posterior to scapula |
Scapula | shoulder blade |
Acromion process | high prominence on the shoulder |
Coracoid process | attachment site for upper back and shoulder muscles |
Glenoid Cavity | shoulder joint, site where the scapula and humerus meet |
Humerus | bone extending from the shoulder to the elbow |
Head | articulates with the glenoid cavity |
Deltoid tuberosity | roughened v-shape, attachment site for deltoid muscle |
Croronoid fossa | anterior fossa recieves the coronoid process of ulna when arm is flexed |
Olecranon fossa | posterior side of the elbow joint, receives the olecranon of the ulna when extended |
Radius | bone in lower arm, thumb side |
Radial tuberosity | allows the bicep to attach to lower arm |
Ulna | the inner and longer of the two bones of the human forearm, pinky side |
Olecranon process | forms the prominence of the elbow |
Carpals | wrist bones, 8 per side |
Scaphoid | boat shaped, most commonly fractured, below thumb |
Capitate | largest wrist bone |
Metacarpals | 1-5 (thumb to pinky), attach distally to the carpals (10 in total) |
Phalanges | each finger has 3 (proximal, medial, distal), except thumb (2), 28 in total |
