Hematopoiesis | Blood cell formation done through red bone marrow or myeloid tissue |
Bone Shapes (5) | Long, Short, Flat, Irregular, Sessamoid |
Diaphysis | Main shaft like portion/hollow and cylindrical in shape |
Epiphyses | proximal or distal ends of the bone |
Medullary cavity | Where yellow bone is located & in the hollow spaces of the diaphysis |
Osteoblasts | Cells that synthesize osteoids which helps mineralize the bone |
Osteoclasts | Reformation/Remodeling/Reabsorption of the bone |
