What plasma protein maintains osmotic pressure? Albumins

What 2 do NOT have a nucleus? RBCs and platelets

What hormone creates RBC? Erythropoietin (EPO)

What 2 WBC are phagocytes? (eat things up) Neutrophils and monocytes
Hematopoiesis contains what 3 things and what are they? Pluripotent: stem cell Myeloid: RBC and platelets Lymphoid: WBC, B and T cells
What hormone creates platelets? Thrombopoietin (TPO)
What is the creation of any blood cell called? Hematopoiesis
What protein carries oxygen to all cells and CO2 to lungs? Hemoglobin
Basophils have to do with.... Allergies, leukemia, and cancer
Neutrophils have to do with... Bacterial infections, inflammation, burns, radiation, lupus
Monocytes have to do with... Viral or fungal infections, leukemia, tuberculosis
Eosinophils have to do with... Parasites, allergies
