Cranial Nerve 2 | Sensory. Optic - Vision, Axons of ganglionic cells of retina to thalamus and midbrain, one on R and L |
Cranial Nerve 3 | Motor. Oculomotor - Extrinsic muscles of the eye (voluntary). Smooth muscle that controls shape of pupil and lens (involuntary). |
Cranial Nerve 4 | Motor. Trochlear - One muscle that moves the eyeball |
Cranial Nerve 5 | Both. Trigeminal - Sense:head region. Motor: Muscles of Mastication(temporalis, Masseter, Medial&Lateral pterygoids) |
Cranial Nerve 6 | Motor. Abducens - skeletal muscle of the eye |
Cranial Nerve 7 | Both. Facial - Motor: facial expression muscles. Sense: Earlobe Control secretion of saliva and lacrimal gland. Taste from Anterior 2/3 of tongue |

Cranial Nerve 9 | Both. Glossopharyngeal - Sense: pharynx and 1/3 posterior tongue. Motor: pharynx muscle |
