tibialis anterior- function dorsiflexion and inversion of the foot at the ankle
Extensor digitorum longus- function dorsiflexion of the foot at the ankle. Extension of digits 2-5

Fibularis tertius- function dorsiflexion and eversion of the foot at the ankle

Popliteus- function unlocks the knee from a fully extended position

Flexor hallucis longus- functino plantarflexion and inversion of the foot at the ankle. flexion of the 1rst digit

Dorsal interosseeus- function abduction of all of the digits
Abductor hallucis- function abduction of the 1rst digit
Flexor hallucis brevis- function flexion of the 1rst digit
Abductor digiti minimi- function abduction of the 5th digit
Flexor digiti minimi- function flexion of the 5th digit
Flexion digitorum brevis- function flexion of digits 2-5
Adductor hallucis- function adduction of 1rst digit
Quadratus plantae- function fixes the tracking of the flexor digitorum longus tendon so that the digits are flexed evenly
Lumbrical- function flexion of the metatarsals while simultaneously extending of hyperextending the phalanges
Plantar Interosseus- function adduction of all of the digits
