| Cleft palate | occurs when the maxillary bones do not fuse during embryonic development, resulting in an opening in the roof of the mouth.

| Osteoporosis | a disorder of the skeletal system associated with porous, fragile bones and a significant loss of bone mass.

| Osteomyelitis | an inflammation of bone caused by pyogenic (pus producing) bacteria.

| Osteitis deformans | results from excessive and abnormal osteoclast activity followed by excess osteoblast activity.

| Flatfoot | a condition in which the entire sole of the foot touches the floor when standing.

| Sprain | the wrenching of a joint with rupture or tearing of the ligaments.

| Arthroscopy | Examination of the interior of the knee and the surgical repair of it .

| Ligament | band of dense regular connective tissue.
🗑

||||
| Tendon | cord of regular dense connective tissue that attaches a muscle to a bone.
